The newest addition to the many "Lil's" in the hip hop music industry, Lil S.M.I.F, is a force to be reckoned with. His debut Mixtape, "Back To Tha Biz" (2012), went street known upon its release and even his best selling Mixtape is still certified as gold upon the Mixtape release. Despite his success in the music industry, Lil S.M.I.F's childhood experiences, like many other rap and hip hop singers, were far from perfect.In the late 90's was when lil S.M.I.F born, that's when my fascination with music began to form. days it was freestyling all night, until the sun came up. On the West Coast that's what the hip hop scene was back then, and anyone who grew up in that era should know exactly what I mean!

Now let me take you from the beginning of my music time to 2013.

It was when I released my first song in 2009 things changed. I quickly found my flow when I realized the power I held in words, and as I matured so did my music. Which led me to release "

"Dark child " is a unique project, which got a lot of great comments. Every track was produced, and engineered by 4 time It was the first time I manged to get my music online, which gave me my first feeling of independent success! I I finally finished recording three tracks off the E.P during the Week but in 2007, so overall to me the album was a success!

We wanted to create a community for independent artist to get recognition, and we manged to do that effectively! Over the course of that year, we had the opportunity to promote at least musicians from various places across the United States, and Jackson .... The birthplace of America music was a beautiful thing to be a part of, shout out to all the musicians that were part of what we did! Bio: Jalen Smith also known as Lil S.M.I.F or Frenchi (Born May 8th 1998) is an American rapper, songwriter, record , an from Jackson Mississippi. Lil S.M.I.F has been rapping since the age of 9 . At 15 released his first solo song under the name B4I WAKE giving his take on the game and experiences through his life with his music. Born as Jalen Ladarious , Smith. on May 8, 1998 in Jackson, MS to Roderick Smith and Latasha Banks, who was then just starting to rap for the rest of his life, Lil S.M.I.F was forced to bid goodbye to his street father that died in a shooting when he was only 7 year old. During that time, he and his mother were forced to survive by themselves in the criminal-infested city of Jackson MS.
